D23 Special Charter Member Pin

Back when D23 first started, I commented that they should (and May) do something extra special for those who joined on the very first day. We had faith that it was going to be something great and, despite the many complaints, joined anyway.

Yesterday I recieved an unmarked envelope in the mail, with a letter and a special gift....for those of us who supported D23 from day 1. Its a large pin that is dated "Day One Charter Member March 10, 2009". See the pictures below:

Ok... so I read this on Saturday and I was thrilled. Didn't get anything on Saturday so I figured Monday.... Nothing today either!!!

I am thinking it might be because I am on the West Coast. I signed up day one and I added it to my signature below.....

If I dont see anything in a couple days I might make call...

Ours arrived via Fed Ex this morning! It's very nice. We actually couldn't remember if we had signed up the first day!

And nothing yet. I signed up in the opening MINUTES of D-23. I hope this pin makes it.

On another note, anyone here know where to get another D23 sticker? Mine fell off, I wrote D23, and they said sorry, nothing they can do...

I hope the pin is not sent to select members only....

They better not send it to select only. I am on the West Coast. I see that most of the poeople who have them so far are on the East Coast or Midwest.... Didn't get mine today... here is to tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
