D23 Scavenger Hunt

Anyone else taking part this weekend in the D23 Great Disney Scavenger Hunt at DLR?

So ... how was it? We enjoyed each and every session on Fri/Sat. Hope y'all did, too!

We had a lot of fun, despite the heat. Given that this was their first scavenger hunt, I think D23 did a great job of organizing the event. Having said that though, I think there are several things which will need to be looked at in order to make this a successful annual event.

D23 has announced via Twitter that both Destination D and the Great Scavenger Hunt will be coming to WDW in the Spring of 2011.

We participated in the hunt, too. It was very hot that day, but we still had a lot of fun. I agree with FCCA that there are still some things that need to be looked into, but I think overall, it was a great event.

On another note, did anyone buy a D23 membership during the event? Anyone else have problems? There were tables set up at the back for merchandise and membership purchase. We bought membership and the redemption card given to us does not work even though our credit card was already charged and we followed the directions on the back. The phone number on the receipt is no longer valid either.
