D23 gold?

I've been thinking about getting a D23 Gold membership but I have some questions.

If I buy it now (July) will it expire at the end of the year or next July? If its next July do I get an annual gift for this year and next year? Are the events they have (not including d23 expo) free as part of the membership?

It will last until next July. You only get one annual gift per year. So you’d get the one for this year, and you wouldn’t get the one for next year until you renew next July.
D23 Expo and Destination D events require paid access, but D23 Gold members receive a discount.
