I will be at DLR that weekend, but won't be making the expo. :sad2:

I'm going with my friend from work, she is even more obsessed than me which I am very happy about. My mum isn't really getting into the whole Disney thing:confused3

I'll be there the 9th thru the 13th.

How is everyone getting from their hotel to the convention center? Walking, taxi, car, or will there be any official transportation?

I'm going as well! :cool1: I am taking my niece (14) who is real excited. She posts on the teen boards and was hoping to meet some other teen Disers. Anyone bringing any teenagers?

According to the Expo web site: "For guests staying at the Disneyland Resort Hotels, shuttle service will be available to the D23 Expo. Additional details will post soon."

We will be driving.... even though it seems that parking costs $12/day.

If I were staying at a local hotel I would ask if they have transportation to the Convention Center.

btw, OT: Banners are all over Anaheim advertising the expo.

We'll be there for all 4 days. First day we'll spend 8-5pm, then the other 3 days, just go back for speakers or to see something special. Rest of the time we'll be at the parks.

You can always check ART routes.

I'm a teen going to the Expo! All 4 days! We'll be splitting the time between the Expo and my first ever trip to DLR. I'm PSYCHED! :cool1:

It's stressing me out a little though. I'm so used to being a crazy planner, but since this is the first ever Expo, I can't get advice for SUPER planning from anyone, and the website isn't being too informative other than when the keynote speakers are. But they don't even say how long the speeches will be. I'm hoping they release lots of details in the next month.

See y'all there!

EDIT: By the way, does anyone think they should/hope they will have Photopass at the Expo? I think they could have some good Photopass opportunities there, and it's money in the bank for them either way. It would give ME a better reason to buy the PhotoCD anyway.

I'm going.

It's cool to see that you are coming all the way from Australia, Tink91. You've probably seen the gripes, too, from people who say D23 is too expensive and why bother if you don't live anywhere near a Disney park. I think that's ridiculous because, if you want to go and can afford to do so, you'll travel if need be.

Anyhow, it's going to be exciting with it being the first time and all. :cool1:

I wont be at the Expo unfortunately, but I will be at DLR from 9/8-9/12 :thumbsup2 For those of you also making their way to the park, don't forget to check out the September Check-In thread!

We are driving down for the HM40th event on 9/9 and will be going to the expo on 9/10 also, I am soooo looking forward to that trip!

I will be there from 9/10 to 9/13. It's my first solo trip and first DL trip!!

I'm a teenager going, I'm 17, hoping to meet some new friends too!!

I have been to Disneyland twice before, when I was 12 and 13, but I think I will appreciate it more now than then!!:lmao:
