D23 EXPO THREAD - See you in 2019!

Despite them saying no overnight queues for Sunday they have folks in the Hall E basement again this morning. First section of the show floor is full & they are starting on the middle section.

I had completely forgotten about the no overnights on Sunday thing. I did notice on the way out that a lot of people were just sleeping right outside there though so I wasn't really surprised about the first section being filled.

Menken already has people in line? I'm shocked. Hoping to get into the second one but won't be able to get in line until much later. We are heading over soonish. Just hoping to make it in an inside queue for show floor.

I rolled on it hall e at 5am this morning. First time making it to the basement when getting here this early.

Currently debating on attempting to get wristband for guardians of the galaxy signing or if I just want to go straight back to Mickeys of Glendale store.

Yesterday morning they Already had a Separate line for the Avengers wrist band separate from show floor line. Not sure if they have that again today. Might not hurt to ask if that is what you want.

I was just chatting with the folks next to me since they also have a fantastic wrist band. They said they had the same show as I do but their wristband color is different.
I thought they were color coded so now I hope mine is ok for tonight. I'm paranoid about missing it. Lol

I've decided to shop at Mickeys of Glendale rather than deal with a signing. My daughter requested something so I will head right there and see if I can get it.

I noticed a few more people are in line for the earlier Alan Menken concert.

How can some people near me look so good. I look soooo tired and they look really well rested.

What time does your paper say? I think the band color might possibly be related to viewing area. I have a 9 PM viewing in the east with a yellow band.

The Galaxy of Stories is right at the entrance. The other items are in the middle & to the left as you go in. Also lots of other different Star Wars stuff towards the back by the registers. One cool shirt was an imagineering type drawing of the cantina.

That is my plan as well but I can't get there until closer to 1:00 so am hoping to snag a seat at the back

I've got a 10:30pm showing on the west side. My band is gold. I bet it is related to viewing areas.
