D23 Event at WDW House of Blues

It seems D23 is holding a "free" mixer at WDW's House of Blues on July 20th. Admission is free, but you still have to buy drinks or food, which is extra.

Again ... I don't see any value whatsoever to D23. You get to meet with Disney fans? I can do that for free here on the DIS.

They had a similar mixer here on this coast at ESPN Zone. At that one you also had to buy your own food & Drink, but at least got a free $10 game card.

Also, at the DLR mixer, you not only got to meet other fans, but George Kalogridis (President of DLR) stopped by. There may be some surprises like that at the WDW version.
