I think it's that or they are announcing that the Magic and Wonder are going to both be in the Pacific. They might release that they’re building a new class of two smaller ships. The ships in the image have 3 decks of staterooms in the middle (just like the Magic/Wonder). If this is the case, I imagine that they’ll also release that the Magic/Wonder will be retired in the next few years![]()
I hope not bigger.I think they will announce a plan to replace the Magic and Wonder with bigger ships but small enough to still transit the Panama Canal
Same size replacements I could live with, even though I'm a great fan of the Magic class ships over the others. They might release that they’re building a new class of two smaller ships. YES!!!Well, they better be layed out more like the originals and NOT the new ones!
It's the fact that the design of the ships look like the Magic/Wonder. Only three full decks of staterooms and no AquaDunk or AquaMouse.Hopefully it's just news re the Destiny and Adventure. Not sure my heart can handle any news about replacing/retiring the Magic and Wonder right now![]()

If it is the same size as the Magic/Wonder, I will miss the AquaDunk. I still wish Disney puts more slides on their ships. It's the fact that the design of the ships look like the Magic/Wonder. Only three full decks of staterooms and no AquaDunk or AquaMouse.
To be honest, I’m not too bothered about the size or layout, I just don’t want the design to be like the Triton Class. I much prefer the Magic/Dream class old-style cruise ship look, with only a few spaces themed with Disney IP.I hope not bigger.

YES!!!
As long as it is a “replacement” more closely matched to what it is replacing and people love. The retirement thesis for the current Magic-class ships has some legs. The Magic had its last technical drydock last June and the Wonder last September... this would give these ships approximately another 5 years before anything else major is required... and they'd both be about 30 years old by that time. I know we don't want it to be true... but there comes a point where building a replacement is a necessity...
That is my hope to... The reality though is that those were Fincantieri builds and I doubt that DCL would move away from Meyer Werft so there will definitely be a number of differences... as Meyer has never really built a ship of that size... There were some Norwegian builds in the early 2000s that had about the same size, but lower passenger count and a number of Celebrity ships that have a similar passenger capacity, but are much heavier... none of it within the last 10 yearsAs long as it is a “replacement” more closely matched to what it is replacing and people love.
Even more like the Dream and Fantasy would make me happy. Do NOT like the layout of the three new ones. I am sure Meyer Werft can build whatever is designed. That is my hope to...
