Has anyone received their D23 2015 Expo tickets in the mail yet? I heard they were supposed to be sent mid-July and have not received mine.

Per a group I belong to, tickets have just started to roll out and be received. Apparently in 2013 it took roughly a full two weeks for the mailing, so no reason to panic yet...they are coming!

Hello! I ordered my tickets the first day they were released and received them in the mail today in So Cal!

Does anyone think it would be too late to change my address for my tickets? I'm in Canada, where they don't ship and it looks like its to cause problems as far as getting into Hall E before 7am. But I have access to an American postal box just across the line in Washington State, I assume it might be too late, but does anyone have experience changing their address on their tickets?

Contact D23 (phone or email) to ask them about this. A goof on this could be a huge hassle.

As I've tried, but they are not exactly 'responsive' unfortunately. As it stands (from their last e-mail), I have to pick-up my tickets from Will Call anytime after 7am, but some have mentioned they believe I'll need my tickets to get in line in Hall E, so I'm a little worried right now. There is no way, NO WAY, I'll accept that I can't get into line in Hall E at the same time as everyone else and miss out on a Hall D23 Presentation because they wouldn't ship my tickets 30 minutes north of the US border. I paid just as much for my tickets as everyone else.

Will you be alone at Expo? Can someone save your spot in line while you get your tickets at Will Call? Most Expo guests are really friendly and willing to help save spots for good reasons. Yours sounds like a good reason! And don't worry about D23 not getting back to you quickly. They do answer the emails, and it helps for you to be as detailed as possible in your message. Usually it takes them several days to get back to me, if that helps.

Thanks for the replies! I will be with my girlfriend there, so someone staying in line while the other goes and collects the tickets is not a problem. My only concern is that because they are allowing people to wait inside Hall E this year for the doors to open, and some have said that they believe they will require you to scan your ticket to even get in Hall E to wait, and if so, I won't have my tickets until after 7am and won't be granted access to wait in line.

That's good news that they will get back to you, however, just not quickly lol. I guess I'll have to exercise patience.

"Bryan,

Regrettably, there will be no way to hold or save a space in line for the D23 sessions. You will be required to have your credentials and then you can get in line for Hall E.

Sincerely,
Keyona
D23 Guest Relations"

Ok, I wasn't going to say this because it is highly sketchy and it may not work for you...but in light of your email...

In 2013, I picked up someone else's credential/ticket. And all I had was their confirmation letter. Not once was I asked for ID - I asked a couple of unrelated questions, handed the letter off and was done.

I'm not advocating this nor am I saying it will even work this time. Just throwing it out there.

Me? I'd keep at D23... They are notorious for not answering direct questions and changing their answers.

Yea, I may have to look into it. I wrote them back a letter while I was still hot under the collar, so it's worded quite strongly (while still professional) lol. I asked for a manager and a phone number. Said that they are basically saying that their Canadian (and other international members) aren't worth as much to them and will not be granted the same access. I also posted publicly on their facebook. I'd better see some action, that's all I'm saying lol.

Sorry you are having so much trouble! That stinks.

Will you be in Anaheim on Thursday evening? This is from the D23 Expo site:
Will Call
Will call is located in the lobby of the Anaheim Convention Center. Will call hours of operation are as follows:
Thursday, August 13, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Friday, August 14 – Sunday, August 16: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Picking up your tickets on Thursday night would allow you and your GF to have credentials in hand on Friday morning.

Unfortunately no, I couldn't get the time off work, so I don't land until Saturday morning at 12:30am

Question, for those who have gone before, how exactly does the first presentation of the day work (not Hall D23)? For example, the first presentation starts at 10am, however, the doors don't open for General Members until 10am. There really isn't a way of getting into this first presentation is there?

This is where I get super-confused, so this may make it muddier. :rotfl: From what I can read/understand from both the website and the information supplied with the tickets; the overnight lines for Friday and Saturday are open to all for Hall23 access AND floor access (the implication is shopping). From 7am on, arrivals will be funneled into two lines outside: General for entry at 10am and D23 Member for entry at 9am.

When I brought this up in a Facebook group (not officially Disney), I was told that they would hold overnight people that wanted to access the floor until 9am, allowing them to enter with D23 Members - in theory, shopping and Stage 23/28? I'm not sure where that is clear, to be honest. I've read through it multiple times. I was going to ask when I arrived Thursday for clarification.

I have no experience accessing the other Stages (23 and 28) at opening...I'm a member and I've only been outside the Arena (now the different space, Hall 23) for one presentation in the previous two Expos.
