Ok 2 days ago right before we left we went looking around at other resorts ( We were staying a the poly ) We looked at Coranado Springs and ask if we can see a room and right after the DVC cast Member told us Why Stay at a Moderate Resort when u can join DVC. So we went to the preview center and did everything and we really thought it was a great program. Ok the Guy told us about the Resort Disney is making in hawaii and plans to open 2011. well were going to go on another disney trip before then. So my question is Do we have to make That resort are HOME resort or can we join in BLT and then the Hawaiian

DVC is actively selling Bay Lake Tower (BLT), Saratoga Springs (SSR), Animal Kingdom Villas (AKV) and the Villas at the Grand Californian (VGC). You can purchase an interest in any of these resorts. If you also want points at the resort in Hawaii once it opens, you can add-on additional points there or any other DVC resort.

You cannot transfer home resort status from one resort to another. If you buy at BLT and want only Hawaii two years from now, you will have to sell BLT and purchase Hawaii. Otherwise, just add-on Hawaii so that you will have ownership in both. By the way, you don't have to always stay at your home resort. No one knows what the availability of the Hawaiian resort is going to be, but your BLT points can be used there. You would just have to book no earlier than 7 months prior to checkin date. If you owned interest in Hawaii, you would be able to book at 11 months, thereby giving you the best chance of getting exactly what you want.

?? when can u Buy into the new Hawaiian resort?

No one knows when it will go up for sale. What's more, no one knows how much the points will cost, what the point structure will be (you can bet it's going to be high, though), or how difficult it will be for non-owners to book at 7 months out. Given the size of the resort (480 villas, IIRC), I would think it would be fairly easy to get for most times of the year. Perhaps if there are limited ocean view rooms, those will be harder to book, but still.

I guess I'd be asking myself where I'd go more often - Disney or Hawaii - and decide where to buy based on that answer.
