Cypress Point Villas Vs Grand Villas?

Stayed in the villas one year ago...it was worn but the location to the volcano pool was great! Have any of these villas been refurbished? How do this compare to the Grandvillas? Distance to the pool? Worth the extra money?

The Grand Villas are just across the street, and about a 2 block walk to the volcano pool. Remember how you turned off the main road , went about 1/2 mile and turned left to enter the Villas? You would turn right instead to go to CPGV. Check in still at the Villas area. We thought CPGV, (2BR) was great, and we got it for $85/night thru HotelKingdom. I never saw the Villas area.
