Can anyone tell me what the bathroom set ups are in the Cypress Point Resort? I was just reading on TripAdvisor & 2 posters have negative comments on the "no door" bathrooms. I am thinking of staying here with my 2 daughters (16 &12) and 3 of my 16 yr olds friends (2 of which are male). They are all going to a concert in Orlando & I am taking them. I thought I would make it a mini trip for me & my 12 yr old as well. Figured we would stay 3 nights & do Disney. I do not want to book a condo that has "no door" bathrooms. I will be having teens of oppistie sex's with me & know they will not use them! Not to mention, I wouldn't either  If I don't do Cypress Point, does anyone have any ohter suggestions that would be under $80 (Cypress is $75 thru Hotel Kingdom) that would fit us? I was thinking of maybe trying Priceline for 2 rooms, but then I am not guaranteed the rooms to be connecting/adjoining.. and I need that with 4 teens, me & my 12 yr old....

Did you check out the floor plan on Hotel Kingdom for Cypress Point? From what I can see the master bath area is open to the master bedroom (with toilet facilities in a little nook around a corner). The second bath looks like it has a door.
I will be staying there myself later this month.

The 2BR at Cypress Point Grand Villas has 2 bathrooms. 1 has a door like a regular bathroom. The other one does not. It is part of the master suite; you can be in the master bedroom and look in at the whirlpool tub and toilet area. Of course, that entire area locks from the rest of the unit.

Not sure about Cypress Point. If you check on these boards, there should be lots of threads about Cypress Point. Look for topics such as "floor plan" of "telephone numbers".. You could always call them directly and ask.

I'm assuming with that amount of people you're in a 2 bedroom. There's a bathroom with a regular door, and then the one in the master suite. That bathroom, if it's still similarly set up, does have a curtain that blocks off the toilet/shower area from the sink/jacuzzi. However, the mirror connects to that area so it's still pretty easy to see. But as others have said, it's in a corner of the master suite (and obviously the toilet has a wall behind it, which gives a *little* more privacy. If worse comes to worse, lock the door of the bedroom for a couple minutes.

We stayed at CP (not Grand Villas) back in July in a 2 bedroom. It's the master bath in the Master Bedroom Suite that people are referring to as having no privacy. I had a picture of it somewhere but as usual can't find it now. The guest bath has a door that closes and locks. The Master bath is in the corner of the Master Bedroom and there is no door seperating the rooms nor is there a curtain. There is a wall and the toilet sits against it so anyone that is in that room can see (or hear) you. The shower doors in the master bath are see through and there are mirrors all over the place so you better be comfortable with your body if SO is in the room. The door to the Master Bedroom does shut and lock though.

Hope I've helped. BTW, if you can afford it go for the 3 bedroom with this sized group. I wished I had done that. DH's best friend flew us down in his airplane and stayed with us in the condo. I kicked myself a hundred times for not getting the 3 bdrm for just a little more money we could have had a lot more privacy.

Thanks for all of the replys. It sounds like the bathrooms at WestGate Villas. The master bath had no privacy for the tub/shower area but the toilet did have a door. As long as at least one of the bathrooms have privacy, we can deal with it. One of the posters on trip advisor made it sound like neither had doors & even commented that the jucuzzi tub was in the middle of the room??? I have considered the 3 bedroom. Only thing is...I have better "vision" of them in the 2 bedroom. I was thinking of having the boys in the 2nd bedroom, the girls (including by 12 yr old) in the master. The 3 girls could fit in the king bed.... then me... the "hawk" on the sofa sleeper...so they cannot get past me! If we had the 3rd bedroom, I wouldn't be able to see them as well.... I did talk to my daughter about getting the 3 bedroom if she invites one more person...then I would need it....The price difference is only a matter of like $50 total for all 3 nights... so price wise it would be a smart move. I just hope now that by the time I book, they are still available.... again...thanks for the replys :magnify:
