Are these two the same hotel? And if not, what is the difference? Is one better than the others? Thank you for any information.

Neither is a hotel - they are both timeshare condominium resorts. As such you get a full kitchen, multiple bedrooms (except for the studio units or 1 bedroom units), multiple bathrooms, laundry facilities - basically a full condo vs a hotel room. No comparison to any hotel only accomodation.

As for the two resorts the comparison web page above highlights the differences. Both share all common amenities but differ in the unit layout and features. You can't go wrong with either but one or the other may have a specific item or items in the unit you would like therefore tilting the scale for your visit.

Where are the best deals found for this property? I went to Hotel Kingdon and there no prices for the dates I want. I thought you would be bale to book April 2006.

Hello. I found the best deal through HotelKingdom. My price for a two bedroom was $93.22 a night. Called Sunterra reservations and was quoted $185.00 a night and Expedia was $136.00 a night.

Our family has just recently returned from this resort. Most of us stayed in a 3 bedroom in Cypress Pointe and then my brother and his wife did a one bedroom in the Grand Villa section.

Both were great units in an excellent location to the parks.

I spent months trying to convince my brother to book at CP or CPGV and he kept thinking he could do better. Finally he gave up and booked there. After spending 1 day at the place he said that I had done a great job finding an excellant place to stay. Hopefully that means our next trip that I plan he will listen earlier which makes planning for a large group much easier.

We got all our reservations for this resort off of Hotelkingdom.com. If the price is right for you I say go for it. We loved it and our next trip down will definitely include this in our discussion of places to stay.

Be aware that on they Yahoo CP Owners board they are saying to expect the prices at Hotel Kingdom to go up as the resort is getting more owners using their weeks due to the updates there...

If you do a search, someone here posted a link to inntopia after Hotelkingdom initially raised their prices. I think this was about six weeks ago. I haven't checked recently, but a two bedroom at Cypress Pointe at inntopia was going for around $80 a night.

Yes, the prices are up, but still a bargain, as I can tell. I can get the three bedroom for less than 1 value (I'd need 2)at Christmas. I realize that IF we went, it would be busy, and we wouldn't get EMH priviledges, but since the teens are not all that keen on Disney, itself, we'd be busy other places anyway. I like the cancellation policy, too. :) Thank you for all your help!
