Cypress Harbour

I have an offer for a 2 bedrom at Cypress Harbour that I like, but Island pool will be closed for renovation 2 day after I get there. I have 3 and 5 yo boys. Will we be ok with just the Clubhouse pool? I can stay at Harbour Lake, which I'd prefer, but we would lose a day because they don't have our check-in date available. So we'd end up with 6 nights instead of 7. I'm torn. Advice? Anybody stayed at Cypress Harbour? I can also do Sheraton Vistana a little cheaper and have my full week. What would you do?

Will we be ok with just the Clubhouse pool?

I think so. The Island Pool consists of a lap pool and a large rectangular general use pool with a waterfall coming off the back side of the sauna building. The Clubhouse Pool is a quite large, irregularly shaped pool that usually has a volleyball net set up in one section. I believe that there's a separate childrens' pool there and one of those sprinkler features for kids. There are hot tubs at both pool areas.

No doubt that the pirates ship theme at Harbour Lake would be a big hit for your children. But the villas at Cypress Harbour are much nicer than those at Harbour Lake, so you'd have both a comfort issue and a shorter vacation time issue if you decided to stay at Harbour Lake. Advice? That's a tough one, I'd pick 7 nights over 6 but I'd also pick Cypress Harbour over Harbour Lake.

Several times. My family's favorite Orlando area timeshare resort.

Given that I like Cypress Harbour better than either of them, I think it depends on which Vistana. If Vistana Resort then I'd say choose Cypress Harbour. If Vistana Villages then pick Vistana Villages - your boys would like the Galleon Ship water feature that they most likely created to compete with the pirate ship at Harbour Lake. We've stayed at both Vistanas a couple of times each and both are nice resorts.
