Review cypress harbour/grande vista ??'s

Am a newbie to staying offsite and these places seem to rate very high but am wondering how to get the best rates. Is AAA discount my best bet? Also would either be better suited for teens (age 15 and 17).
We'll be going mid-August. Wish it was now - very sick of being snowed in !!!

Hi! I'm sick of the snow too! Can't wait till it warms up.

We're going to the Grande Vista in March, as I got a "getaway" from Interval International, great deal ($440 for 7 nights in a 2 bedroom including tax). It looks like a better choice for older kids, from what I've read. I'll post when we get back. I couldn't believe I got such a deal; no housekeeping except the mid week trash and towel, but I don't mind that at all! I keep the place clean when we travel anyway.

Check out Marriott's website - then if you aren't a member, join Marriott Rewards program (it's free). They sometimes have special deals on hotels and the timeshare properties. I'd definitely start there.

Also, you can check out Marriott Vacation Club's website. They often have specials for stays if you attend a presentation. I find their sales people very nice (we bought a timeshare directly from a lady in Hawaii that we met years ago, she was so nice, and I'm very happy with our purchase). For a great deal, I'd definitely go to a timeshare presentation!

** I just checked online, and for mid-August, you can get a 5 night package in a one bedroom villa for $943.48 which includes two adult Disney 3 day tickets at the Grande Vista. That seems like a good deal. They also have a 4 night stay for $299 if you attend a presentation - the website for info is
