Staples is already mentioning on Facebook that they have specials for Cyber Monday (11/28 & 11/29). There is mention of 2 TB External Hard Drive for $69.99, 8GB USB Dirive for $9.99, TomTom XXL GPS for $79.99, and customized photo calendars for $4.99 on Monday 11/29 only.

Who else is advertising for the Monday online specials?

CyberMonday, or in this case Sunday & Monday, is ONLY online thus the name Cyber. Not in the stores.

Kmart.com and Sears.com appear to be giving 5X rewards points for each dollar spent on qualifying purchases online on 11/29/10. That's 50 rewards points for each dollar spent. I don't see any more info on this as to what 'qualifying purchases' might be.

According to the Staples Facebook page, they started their sale 2 hours earlier than their Facebook rep said, 3am instead of 6am, and some items are already sold out. Lots of very angry people over there.

Guess I can go back to bed since I didn't get the hard drive either.

I'm so sorry to hear this!!!

I have been thinking that the retailers are trying to set a new 'tradition' by tempting the public to shop on Thanksgiving Day and the days leading up to it with competitive bargains but this attempt seems to be flopping in some areas!!

By my emails, tho', I see just about everyone has a Cyber Monday ad out today and Walmart is calling their ad "Cyber Week Specials".

Moosejaw rewards are 5x today!! I got my son a Northface jacket (Apex $129) and when it ships I will have $64.50 in credit to apply to my daughters NF jacket i'm getting her. It's $99, but with the credit it will only cost me $34.50.

I went to Bath & Body Works today and they had the large Holiday House Candle Luminary for 50% off, making it $17.50! I couldn't resist!

I see that Walgreen's has a 10-cent per 4 x 6 print special, until December 4th, when you use code HELPING. I would hope there would be a better discount than that out there somewhere!!

Buy.com has this Fantom 2TB external hard drive for $89.99 after rebate but I'm not sure that's a great price. I know that is the 'regular' price I paid for mine when I ordered it last year.

For anyone still looking for an external hard drive, I thought I saw a Seagate 1.5TB external for $60.00 at Wally World, yesterday, practically hidden back by the flat screen tvs past the Wii department. I was going to come home and double check that price online but I don't see them online. Has anyone else noticed them at their local store?
