Cx'ing Vonage, a rant!

I've been trying to cancel Vonage since October, yes you heard me right, October! Due to some installation issues I can not get it to work, well, therefore I have to call them on my cell phone, each time I call I get an estimated wait of 50+ minutes!!!! And they are only open during peak cell times, ugh! Well, I called Friday and got through right away somehow only to be told that the billing department was closed and that I must call back on Monday... :badpc:

I explain to him my problem and how it's cheaper for me to pay the $25 a month charge than sit on hold for over an hour to cx it seems and he assures me he will give me a direct #, no hold time, etc. Call on Monday.

So here I am, just called and guess what a forever long hold time AGAIN! I'm so angry, you can't CX online and so I'm here on hold again, on my cell!

Anyone CX before and have such trouble, I'm at my wits end.
 
Do you have a proper mailing address for them? Not a po box? If so - send them a certified letter, copy your attorney(or don't and just put their name at the bottom as a cc - lol)Tell them in the letter that you want your account cancelled immediately - detail the times and waits you have had when you have called and demand that somebody calls YOU to finalize this.

If you don't have a proper address - you're just going to have to keep trying via phone.
 
It's crazy! I've got my cell on speaker right now and I'm still on HOLD! We are on a very strict budget now that I left my other job and while it seems small $27 bucks is not something I can waste right now and we get billed for Vonage tomorrow so I'm hoping someone picks up!
 
Vonage is horrible- we have placed customer service reps there and they have a pretty high turnover rate. Good luck getting it off of your bill! Try going on bad business bureau dot com and type in Vonage. You'll see what people have been going through to try to end their service.

Excellent idea for the BBB - Here I checked quick - There's a FAX NUMBER so send them a fax today telling them that you need your account cancelled today!
