CVS Weekly 4/12-4/18

Wait til Thanksgiving! I was there at 8 am Thanksgiving morning. They had something like 20 items free after ECB. It was so much fun!
:worship: I love CVS the day after thanksgiving:banana: This year I am going to try to save up some ecb before the sale so I am not paying so much out of pocket..even if I do get it bak in ECB.. I got aabout 100.00 in ecb last year:banana:

How about just going on Saturday evening? That's what I do, and it is usually pretty dead in there.

If you go to pertplus.com, you can print 2 coupons for $1 off pert. So they would be 2/$5 - 2 $1 coupons - 2 ECB = 2/$1. Pretty good deal!

I also was able to print some $1.50 and $1.00 off coupons for Dove haircare, $1.00 off sure deo, $1.00 of softsoap brand pump or disposable base, and $1.00 off colgate visible white toothpaste all directly from the brand websites, if this helps anyone!

That's good to know! I usually have to work on Saturday nights, but if ever I am off I will keep that in mind. That would be an extra treat for me, having a Saturday night off and going to CVS:yay:

:jumping3: Just bumping for those working on next week's list.

OH YAY!! I got a $20 off $100 at the scanner, and I got a $5 off $30 email yesterday. I'm going tomorrow and trying to check out just after 6 using both this week's and next week's sales. guess I'll be needing 2 carts. :lmao:

Anyone want to share what they are doing this week?
I'm new to this, and I'm just wondering if I'm missing some coupons that are out there, that I can use this week. I only have the coupons from the paper last week :sad2:, so everything else I would have to find online.

Dont forget the Easter/Spring stuff should start getting marked down this week. Dont be afraid to buy the Easter Baskets after Easter. They are great to take apart...lots of little goodies for parties or "Im bored treats":wizard:

 the 'i'm bored' got me laughing, happens once a day around here. When do you think the Easter stuff will be marked down?

Anyone good with Walgreen's deals? I haven't ever tried them, but would love to try them this week. A couple questions.....

Can I use internet coupons at Walgreens?

Can I use the register rewards on a second purchase(same visit, same store)?

Do they set their ads on Saturday evenings like at CVS?

How do I get the RR card? Can I do it in the store today?

TIA!

Marsha

Keep your eyes open for the Stayfree 18 ct. maxis on clearance. The store I was at today had them for $1.60 and you get back a $2 ECB (Limit 5). I know there are some CRT's floating around for these too!

I am heading out tonight to double dip. I do have a $5/$30 and hopefully the scanner will give me something good!

I'm nowhere near a great Walgreens shopper, but I did some deals this week. My Walgreens accepts internet coupons. You can use the RR on a second purchase, but if you are going to use it to get RR back, the one you use can't be from the same company as the one you are buying. For example, you can't use the Colgate RR to buy Colgate again and get RR again, but you can use it to buy 2 Visine and get the Visine RR.

You don't need a card at all, the RR prints out from a machine next to the register. I find it complicated, especially trying to figure out what to use the RR for to get some back. And, I pay tons more tax at Walgreens than I do at CVS for some reason. This week, I did:

2 Visine AC ($3.99 - $3 coupon - $3 coupon)
get back 3 RR

1 Colgate ($3.49 - $0.75 coupon)
1 item to get above $3
use 3 RR, get a $3.50 RR

I wanted to buy some Skintimate that was giving back 3 RR, but it was unmarked and the one I bought didn't give me anything, so the game ended for me:confused3

I think that Visine and the Reach toothbrushes might be the same company. Also, the RR count as a coupon, and you have to make sure that you have at least the same number of coupons as items.

I also understand that they have monthly RR deals, but they aren't marked at Walgreens here, so I have no recourse to complain if they don't print out.

Good luck, I hope you have a great Walgreens.

happy
easter

cvs buddies

I am going to try my hand at Walgreens in the next week or so also. Sure would be nice if someone would start a Walgreens thread like the CVS, Target, and WalMart ones.

WARNING!

Just wanted to warn everyone that the Softsoap scrub ECB printed out for 4.49 instead of 4.99. I pointed it out to the cashier and she said it was because I bought it today, and starting tomorrow it will print 4.99. I really doubt it so check your receipts! Oh well that's what I get for shopping on Saturdays :headache:
