CVS & Rite Aid 4/17-4/23 weekly sale

Also, the Aquafresh Kids toothpaste is included in the $1 sale, used the $1 coupon form today's paper....Free :)

My store only had one tube of Aquafresh TP and it wasn't the free one. I have also never seen the aquafresh toothbrushes in any of my CVS. Bummer!

I did the easter grass, egg kit, 10 snickers eggs (had 7 of the $1/2 Mars coupons but they only had 10 eggs), 3 Colgates, Lays, Pepsi and EOB hand soap (with Facebook coupon). I had a $5/$30 email which was my first in a LONG time. My cost ended up being about $9 which wasn't too bad for the chips and soda which we will use.

I wanted to do the Edge but my store was out so I got a raincheck.

Make sure to do the Nivea bodywash deal at Rite Aid since it is a moneymaker. But 4 at $3.99 each and use the $3 coupons in the sunday inserts. After the $5 UP you come out $1.04 money maker! I had a $3/$15 survey coupon left so I made $4.04!!!!

I did this at Rite Aid too! Including the survey coupon. Wasn't much else there that interested me this week.

Me neither...that is all I did.

Although I read some posts on another blog about the Lysol/cleaning products deal and she got it down to a 70 cent cost without survey coupons...so I think I might see if I can scrounge up those coupons or some close to it and do that deal.

RITE AID

Thinking about trying to get the $10 UP reward for cleaning products. This is what I have so far (this is the first time I've tried this).

(2) Purex 3-in-1 Laundry Sheet B1G1 $7.99, $1 MC
(2) Airwick Air Fresheners B1G1 $1.89, MC for B1G1 limited to $1.39.
(2) Jet-Dry B1G1 $4.99, MC 0.55 x2
(1) Oxi-Clean $3.99, MC $1
(2) Lysol Wipes, 2/$5, MC $1, VV $1
(2) Lysol toilet bowl cleaner, 2/$5, MC $1
(1) Rite Aid Bleach $0.99
(1) Gain dish detergent $0.89

Total of $30.74, less $7.40 in coupons, less $5 UP from the Nivea offer, less $3 off $15 purchase.

Total $15.34 with $10 UP = $5.35 for all the above.

Seems like a decent deal. All things we would use, plus I would save one of the Purex for vacation in October.

I am currently out of dish detergent and bleach right now too.

I know many places have another coupon for the dish detergent, but I don't have one.

I hope I've got my calculations right.....of course that doesn't include tax (6% sales tax for me).

Do you have a link or can you tell me which blog, this is probably a better deal than what I've figured out.

Thanks!!!

Living Rich With Coupons is the blog. I liked her on facebook, so I usually see the updates there.

Just be careful with the 3-in-1 Purex sheets. DO NOT USE THEM IN FRONTLOADERS. They clog the drainage pipes because of the spin cycle. My neighbor had hers repaired becuase of that...and luckily she caught it quick enough. The repairman told her it is a huge problem and when my neighbor called Purex they told her they are aware of the issue and are putting warnings on the packaging. Wasn't worth the risk for me as I own a front loader so I got rid of mine. I kept a pack for when we go on vacation (since those are regular washers) but won't use them at home!

Thanks so much!!!

I will check out her blog.

I have a top-loader machine, but thanks for the warning. I'm definitely taking a pack on vacation in October and might be able to send a pack with my daughter on her mission trip this June as her youth group is supposed to have a place to do laundy.

Yeah, they are PERFECT for vacation. I always take them with to Disney because we stay in a DVC 1 bedroom and they work great in those washers. Are you going to WDW in October? We are going 10/15-10/22!!!

Hi all! I used to post in the CVS thread about 2 years ago. Then we moved and no more CVS. So, now I'm trying to get into the RiteAid deals. How does this thread work? If I have a RA deal, it has to be posted in blue? Thanks for any help!

Oh, and a heads up on the $10Up on $30 cleaning products, I read on another forum that you don't have to do the whole $30 in one transaction. They are keeping track of what you spent on your receipt. Like today I got 2 of the .89 gain dish detergent. It shows on my receipt that I spent $1.78 towards this deal. HTH!

 WELCOME BACK! Rite Aid deals are in this thread. Not as much as CVS. I cant always get the scans early and to be honest it is new to me so posting deals is a little tuff. However, PLEASE feel free to post any info you can. There are a few here that do shop at Rite Aid so any help is always a good thing. YES if you can please post Rite Aid deals in bight blue and title the post RITE AID that is a help. That way none of the CVS gang will be confused:teacher:

Yup 2 weeks are now up. I made a little boo boo. I thought next week was May. LOL however, I am taking
vicodin(SP) for tooth pain so I guess I could blame that LOL

.

My Sunday paper last week was super fat because there were about five copies of the insert with the $1 Colgate coupon. So it looks like more toothpaste for me this week! And if I get that many, it is definitely time to thin my stash and send some to the food pantry.

I went to four stores, spread out over 50 miles (I was on a mini road trip) and only saw what was in our ad -- 2/6.98 - is that what you were talking about?

Also, the Aquafresh Kids toothpaste is included in the $1 sale, used the $1 coupon form today's paper....Free :)

Thank you, I used it too! They also took coupons for Listernine for all the others, making most free !

They have a bunch of products listed in the add I believe 5/$5. The Colgates were in there.

Hmm... ok, thanks. I guess ours didn't get them then because I scoured each store looking for any and all the 5/$5. But I DID stock up on all the others in the 5/5 - my mom too :) And as I said, they took all my coupons making all but one totally free! :) Hope they do that again! :thumbsup2

 Feel better soon, Flaky. I've been out of the loop again (travel) but hope to get back in the CVS swing after Easter. :cheer2: Thanks for all you do each week. :yay:
