CVS? Did everyone give up on it?

Did anyone do the Dove/Lever Buy $15 to get $5 ECB this week? I bought Dove Soap, Lever 2000 and a Dove conditioner to get to the $15. But when I checked my cash register tape, it was like they were treating it as two deals that were only partially done. So no ECB's.

I kept the entire tape and plan to bring it back with me next week to see if they will give me the $5 ECB. I should have checked before I left the store but I was in a hurry!

From what I can tell, there are a couple of Dove ECB deals out there. The following are monthly deals:
  • Dove Body Wash or Bar Soap get $5 eb wyb $15 limit 1
  • Dove Hair Care—Shampoo, Conditioner, or Stylers get $5 eb wyb $15 limit 1
  • Dove Men’s + Care get $5 eb wyb $15 limit 1
Which probably explains why your purchases are appearing as two separate deals.

However, in this week's ad there is an ECB offer for $5 ECB WYB $15 of Dove/Degree deodorant, Caress/Lever/Dove bar soap, Dove bodywash/lotion/shampoo/conditioner, Dove Men+Care body wash. So you should have gotten your ECBs from that.

I will say that I bought 2 Mens+Care deodorant (ad price 2/$7) and 2 Mens+Care bodywashes (ad price $5 ea.) and they all range up at the monthly sale price of $3 each, so I'm $3 shy of getting my $5 ECB as well. :confused3

Thanks for the second opnion! I am confused with all the Dove deals going on right now. I guess I will take the time ask at the store about my ECB's. Especially if my favorite cashier is there!

honestly the coupon hysteria has turned me off of it.

i couponed when couponing wasn't cool. I did it because I liked doing it, and I felt that I was doing something good for my family. However, our existance doesn't depend on couponing.

TLC has ruined it for me. These couponers are so agressive that I can't find a thing on the shelves when I go to get it, and the cashiers are mean and angry when you break out the coupons.

I'd rather just pay full price or just use a few coupons than go through the hassle anymore. I'll go back to it when people stop acting stupid over their coupons. :surfweb:

I haven't CVS'ed before - but got a good deal today and thought I would share - we LOVE the Intuition razors - but of course - they are very expensive! I have found that my DD13 can shave with these and not cut herself (actually me too!) So I like to be sure we have them on hand.

CVS have the 3 blade refills on sale for $8.99 - with $3 ECBs - use that with the $2 coupon from Sunday's paper and it's a pretty good deal.

Question - can I use these ECBs this week - or do I have to wait until next week?

CVS also has Coke product 2 liters on sale for .79 - good deal for summer!

Tried CVSing, but it didn't work for me. I don't have time to shop regularly and never seem to make it back to use ECBs before they expire.

I've downsized my home (about 25% of previous home) and really don't have room to store multiples beyond certain basics. The items I tend to have multiples on hand rarely--if ever--are on any sort of special (contact lens solutions for RGP lenses--we're a captive audience!--primarily).

Just leaving more merchandise in the stores for those who have the process down to a science! :thumbsup2
