just got back from CVS with my first big score!

got two 14.2 oz. bottles of head & shoulders, an 18 ct. box of tampax pearl, an oral b pulsar toothbrush, and oral b advantage toothbrush, and a box of nice & easy root touch up for $9.57 (tax included)! the tampons and advantage toothbrush were free (plus tax), and the pulsar toothbrush was $.99 (plus tax)! not as good as many of you, but considering it was my first time, i think i did really well! and i've got $1.00 ECB left for next time.

She didn't really need more make up, she just liked to have a huge collection. So it had to be pretty cheap or Mom wasn't paying!

It does get to be nice to never have to think about "its time to buy a new toothbrush" because there are always spares in the cupboard!

My husband is not allowed to shop with me - he spends too much money! He is the king of impulse buyers. My daughter shopped with me until she went to college and started working weekends. But I still pick her up nail polish when it is cheap. A few weeks ago they had ECB's and there were coupons for Revlon polish, making it $1 a bottle. So I picked her up a few. Helped keep the teenage moaning and groaning to a minimum when she knew I would pick her up something when it was cheap. Got her looking forward to the weekly CVS ad!

The value is really on there so that stores don't hike up their prices. So the manufacturer limits how much it will reimburse on the BOGO.

At CVS they are on sale this week for $4.99, not sure what the normal price is, sometimes the coupon scans incorrectly and it will actually take off an amount greater than what the sale price is. In that case it would be a MM. There's no way to tell what will happen until you use the coupon.

I used my Head and Shoulders coupon yesterday and I think the cashier had a lot of them because she automatically entered it as $4.99. Still it was a pretty good deal since I ended up with two bottles of Head & Shoulders for $1 each. They are headed for my niece who always asks me why I don't have dandruff shampoo for her when the pokes through my closet of stuff.
