If you are looking at ACMoore and Michaels I think you are debating over the Cuttlebug and the Sizzix BigKick. You can use a coupon for either one of those. Mostly it's a matter of personal preference. Some like the Cuttlebug as it folds up and uses less space. I actually purchased a Big Shot (similar to the Big Kick however it weighs just a tad more and has a permanent sturdy handle). You can find quite a few youtube.com videos on using each. Before making my decision I actually used a friends Cuttlebug and tried the Big Kick at an ACMoore demo and the Big Shot at a CK Convention. If ACMoore or Michaels have a demo or if you know someone who owns one of these I'd recommend trying them out first.
PS: A Sidekick is a smaller version of the BigKick and you can only use about up to a 2-inch wide die or embossing folder in them. My local Michaels stores still have a few on clearance for $9.99. They do have their uses however you have more choices with the Cuttlebug and Sizzix BigKick. Personally I own the original red Sizzix, a sidekick and a Big Shot.
