Cuttlebug questions--Update!

OK-so thanks to all of the enabelers I've been drawn into interest in the cuttlebug. I already have a cricut w/10 carts (I use these alot) and a sizzix machine & alphabet dies (6 sets) somewhere in my garage. I haven't used the sizzix since I got my cricut. Here's my question-do you emboss before or after you cricut AND can you really see the embossing after you cover the page with a page protector? Thanks, Cheryl

I couldn't resist!! I got the cuttlebug bundle on HSN, then went to Oh My Crafts and bought more folders, then went to Big Lots looking for deals I didn't get any cuttlebug stuff there but I did get 2 Cricut carts for $30 each Guess I didn't really need any souvies from our upcoming vacation anyway

I emboss after I cricut. Yes, you can see the patterns just fine through the protectors.

And (an answer to the question you didn't ask! ) "Yes, embossing is highly addictive!!!!!!"

I think I'm already addicted and I don't even have the machine yet! I was thinking that I would be able to use the machine for the color swap! I've spent at least 2 hours looking at websites, etc. trying to find the best deal

will cuttlebug cut fabric? I want to cut out things to applique (sew) on to my daughters bis blankets etc????
