I don't have the steadiest hand. What type of cutter are you using to get the best results? If you leave the slightest bit of white edge does it really stick out on the shirt? Do you have to cut right but to the color? Maybe even a bit of the color?
Thanks

I just use scissors if cutting a rounded shape. I try and keep a little bit of white around the design (see below) If cutting straight lines, use a metal ruler and an exacto knife. Place the ruler on the side over the image and then cut with the blade resting against the ruler. This prevents you from accidentally cutting into your image.

Cut out with scissors.

If you want to do a "print and cut" from an electronic cutter, Silhouette makes the Cameo (12x12) and HD (8x11-I have this one) that work great. However, they are about $200-300.

Glad it worked for you. That's my old art school trick. We had to mount all projects and the xacto was the way to go to get right to the edge. :)
