Cutting Costs

I want an Escape Wedding, but I do not think I need a limo if I'm already going to be at the GF, nor do I want florals. Does anyone know if they would subtract those from the amount or let me use that "money" elsewhere? I doubt it but I thought I would ask. Thanks!

Sorry but the answer is no, they don't allow substitutions and do not credit you for elements you don't want. They won't even allow us to split the limo time.

Just as a thought... not sure if it'll help but when we were emailed our wedding package we were shown that to decorate the WP it would cost $900.

We didn't add that bit in the end - wont go into my reasons. I know it seems weird not to have decorations in the WP but there you go.

Perhaps you could look else where to cost cut? The more you go along the planning route the more things crop up. Write a list of things you want and eliminate things you dont need.

Yeah, I probably won't have decoration in the WP either, it really doesn't need any. I just wish I didn't have to pay for stuff I don't need/want lol

This is correct. We tried to take out the limo this past summer because we were also close to the site, and ALL of our guests were staying off property and driving themselves!
Basically we used the limo to give the kids a fun ride around the grounds with a couple of their parents - the kids loved it! We wished we could have used that money elsewhere
