Any suggestions for cute, good walking shoes to wear in Disney? I normally wear my sneakers, but would like something a little cuter. Especially if it could be worn with a sundress.

I pretty much love in flip flops and would rather walk miles in those than sneakers or any other type of shoe.

Last may I found this shoe company called vionic with orthaheel technology via a cataloque called footsmart.
Absolutely Love, love, love these sandals. I brought them for my trip to Paris where I did tons of walking and because it was paris I wanted to look a bit nicer than I do for a day in the a parks.

check them out at footsmart.com

I also like Merrill sandals

Last time I went, I was pregnant and wore a pair of Clarks sandals. They were comfortable and had just a bit of a heel (maybe 1.5"). And they looked good in photos. I am looking for something similar for my next trip, but willing to go up to a 2" heel.

I've now taken two Disney vacations with my Sketchers Go Walk, and I LOVE them! They are very lightweight and are like walking on clouds. I think they are cute with capris or sundresses too. I started with navy blue ones that were more mesh like. I added a black/dark gray heather for my trip two weeks ago. They are seem a bit thicker, which was what I wanted for winter weather.

Like I do anytime I wear shoes without socks, I spray my feet with a spray antiperspirant/deodorant. This helps with both my feet sweating and with shoe odor.

With my first trip with these shoes, I wore them not only to Disneyland, but also walking around LA and San Diego, including 8 hours at the San Diego Zoo. I took my Chacos on that trip as well, but I always came back to these.

Another recommendation for the Sketchers! I HIGHLY recommend the Sketcher's canvas Go Walk and On-The-Go styles. They are so lightweight it's like you're not even wearing shoes, but they give good support. I've worn them to Disney a few times and they're pretty fantastic. I have three pair now and just love them! I wear them probably 3 or 4 times a week, with or without socks, and they're always very comfy :thumbsup2

Flip flops are great, but I have a bad back so I need a more supportive shoe if I'm going to be walking a lot, and the lightweight Sketcher's do that for me. And they are super cute!!

Thanks for the reviews on the Skechers! I was looking at them for after the Princess half marathon next weekend, and think I'll give these a try! 30% off at Kohls helps too :D
