Cute ideas for giving gift card at Christmas??

My guess is that they will become infintiely more "kewler" with gift cards attached!
These are great! You can also put one in a photo frame.
That's a cute idea!

there are also some puzzles that you can put gift cards in...the recipient has to unlock the puzzle to get the gift card out. It was so fun the first year to see them working hard to get it out. popcorn:: Yeah I have a mean streak too! :rotfl:

We have someone get one every year. Unfortunately it has gotten way too easy and my kids will work together to get it out and then share the gift card...though maybe that's not a bad thing.

I LOVE these! Perfect for my "know it all" child:laughing:

My parents did this for me. I remember how much fun I had with it. They took a punch of one dollar bills and crumbled them up and put them in a box and wrapped it. It was so much fun laying out the money to see how much I had. I know it isn't a gift card, but I thought if you gave any cash.
That's a really creative idea!

We always wind up giving at least one gift card each Christmas. One year, we went to our favorite Chinese take-out place and they let us buy a bunch of the little take-out boxes for really cheap. We put each gift card in a box with the shredded paper stuff. Everybody loved them!

Of course, the next year, there were fancy take-out boxes for sale all over the place for the same purpose. :lmao: I think it was the first time we've ever been ahead of a trend!

WoW ! How cool to be a trendsetter!;)

We did this for my DSD's. Funny thing was, when we got to my DSis's house she did the same thing for the same girls. :rotfl2:

I made a book of cards for DD a couple of years ago for Christmas. I made a story, and each page had an envelope with the gift card in it.
It went something like this:

Once upon a time there was a princess named Kayla, (had a picture of her), she woke up one day to go on a shopping trip. To start her day off she went to Starbuckscard. Then did the different stores etc. To relax, she listened to some music I Tunes card. She went had a lunch at Sonic card. She was tired after all that shopping. So she went home to watch a movie Blockbuster card.

This is the short version of what I wrote, but you get the point. At the end I put something like, and she lived happily ever after and never wanted anything ever again, yea right!

my mom used to go to micheals and get all those fun colored boxes and room accesorys and tuck gift cards in them. I loved it (and had so much fun with having new boxes to store things in (important when she hits her teens)

2 years ago my fiance bought me a nice Christmas plant and bought 20 $10 gift cards to the stores I liked. So he got some extra card holders from the florist and surprised me with this on Christmas morning. :goodvibes

I really love this! This is right up my DD alley. I may try to find some time to make one. It sounds like alot of fun.:thumbsup2

AWW!! That was really sweet. My daughter keeps our golden retriever puppy in her room at night and I would be afraid he would later eat the plant.!!
