So, I've been cutting my carbs/eating less/moving more/etc. and for the past few days by the time 3pm hits I feel weak & tired. I'm pretty sure I'm getting enough calorie wise but I feel really sluggish. Is this normal? Do I need to add some more carbs since I am exercising more for energy? I just feel really awful in the afternoons.

It should get better. A lot of people say it takes two or three days of feeling sluggish, but it took me almost a week until I felt better. I'm doing South Beach so I will add back good carbs after two weeks. I just have three days to go! If you don't feel better soon, you might want to make sure it is not something else. Also, make sure you are drinking plenty of water.

How low are your carbs? How many calories a day are you eating?

You might want to make sure you have a snack around this time. Try eating some almonds and parmesan cheese. It always helps me in the afternoon when the kids get home from school. Gives me a burst of energy.
