Hey everyone !

I will be flying from Montreal to Toronto to Orlando for my Disney World trip. I've heard you're now able to do customs over at Toronto? What is the process? I won't have any baggage to claim so am I able to go through customs siny connection layover is about 3 hours?

We did it in Sept. We flew from Regina to Toronto to Orlando. We had to walk like a mile and a half down the airport and go through security again (remember that, we had to throw out a bunch of drinks that we had paid too much for) but then customs was super easy. You do everything at a touch screen kiosk now and just breeze through.

It's supper easy now. It toOK me almost 20mins to walk from my plane but i arrived to the US security wi th no line. Which actually wasn't good because no passanagers knew what to do as it was slightly different the security for domestic flights. So the security staff keep.yelling at everyone like we were stupid. Shoes have to come off and the bins are on automatic dispensers. There are numbers on the that you are direct to at the xray machine. Once the bags are through the xray there are more tables and benches to put you stuff back toget her. Then off to the computer to enter your travel info with passport. Suggestion walk all the way through there were so many people at the early screen while further in nothing. Then to customs supper easy. I was 5mins from start to finish. More efficient then in the past
Home is better too if connecting in Canada. Separate customs room.with 2 to 6 officers to ask questions. Then downstairs to get a bus to the canadian flight section. 10mins tops.

It use to take forever same line as everyone else then you had to wait for your bag, recheck it then go through security again. Most of the time I was between 1 and 2 hours because the security line was so long.

I found that it depends between Westjet and Air Canada. Coming from the west, when connecting through YYZ, I found that Westjet would often deplane oddly far away from where you need to be and often Signage is confusing.
