customized maps on new WDW site

I was looking through the WDW web site after it was updated this morning and noticed a new feature (at least I've never seen this before). You can customize theme park maps for your upcoming trip and then WDW will send them to you by mail.

The pictures of them are not great, but from the little information that is there this looks cool. They are going to send you these maps and stickers for free??? I have to be reading that wrong, not that I am synical or anything.

You also can order a set of maps every six months! I have not been able to get all the way to page where you actually order the maps. I guess the site is still having problems after the recent upgrade to the reservation engine.

There is also an option to print them at home. I just tried one and is not bad results.

I must have been a guine pig, I had this since July. They sent me an e-mail in July and asked me to do this and how did i like it. I only did the MK and then I printed it on my computer. I'll have to go back and finish the rest. It is just another tool as the UG and Tourguidemike.

Well, apparently they're still working out some bugs, because the site keeps telling me my zip code's invalid. Which is especially amusing because it's the same zip code that the site already had on file for me, never had any trouble with before, and filled in automatically.

Guess I'll just have to figure out my Dream Path some other way, for now at least.

Great I ordered my set for my Dec trip .

I printed it to PDF and then did some paint work and printed it 2 sided to a 4X6 photo card it will be nice to carry rather then the big regular maps.I can take a sharpie with me and add notes from the real updated park maps that day.

I had the same problem with the zip code. The solution is to enter your entire zip code inclusive of the four digit extension. Enter it all without any spaces or hyphens.

Not the case for me. I had an issue where I was being told my zip code was invalid. I waited until last night and tried it again, with only my 5 digit zip code and it worked. Should be receiving my maps in 2-3 weeks, free of charge.

Cool! I just ordered mine-- maybe they have fixed the bug because mine filled in my address fine and it has all been submitted. Now...let's see if it arrives!

Weird -- I tried that and it still didn't work, but when I deleted the full zip code (with four digit extension), and re-entered the 5-digit zip code that had been there all along, the order finally went through.

I also had to change browsers, or at least I did today. For some reason, Firefox wasn't opening the applet, but IE did it. (When I'd first opened it in Firefox several days ago it had opened without trouble.)

The site of course congratulated me for ordering my maps, which struck me as funnier than usual given the amount of effort it took. Congratulations indeed!

I am getting them know, and then will check them over. If I need to change anything, I can order again in April, since we don't leave until June. It's nice to have this as another planning option.

DH has all his Disney Maps laminated and hung up in his office, classroom etc. I think these will be great!!

Maybe it's because we're in Canada, but I can't find a link to order our maps - just print them at home. Can anyone help?
