Customising magic bands

I've just spotted in MDE that our magic bands are now showing but despite giving me the option to customise them it's only giving me the choice of grey!

I'd like to choose my own colours so that we can easily identify whose is whose if we take them off. Anyone else had this problem - how do we get round it?

When are you going? We go in may amd I've had this option for a week but am told it's a glitch in mde and should not be showing yet. Apparently the colour choices appear around 60 days before departure.

Hi - we're going in may too. That explains it then - I was surprised to see them on MDE so early! Will look forward to hopefully being able to customise them at 60 days out. I'm not very trusting of MDE as it never showed me my 180+10 whichever way I navigated the site!

We're currently 120 days out and the option to customise bands appared last week.

We only had grey as an option for the first day customisation was available - the following day all the colours were there to choose from, both on the website and the app.
So we've customised all 4 bands (2 of us doing a split stay, so it's assigned new bands for the 2nd hotel...)

I was told 60 days but they seemed to release a batch of dates in one go. They released from January 6th to late march may be even April in one go about 3 weeks ago I think.

I think at the moment we just have to wait. I wouldn't worry about it until at least 60 days though.

I was just wondering the same thing (although I'm 259 days out so was REALLY surprised to see customising them come up as an option now!)

Same here with only having Grey as an option. I am about 150 days out so I was surprised when the option appeared. I was getting somewhat concerned but the 60 day rule seems to be popping up with calming regularity. So I am not too worried. Just going to let it sit until around then & check back whenever I think of it.

WE TRAVEL IN MAY AND AFTER READING THIS THREAD WAS EXCITED TO SEE OURS COME UP AS WELL BUT ONLY GREY. WILL KEEP CHECKING

We have the bands at the moment and love them we all have our names printed n them so easy to know whos is who

I went back in today, and the colour options appeared... Got 228 days or so to change my mind if I want to!

We have 233 days to go and when I checked this evening they were all there to customise (even our little boy who will only be 2 and doesn't need a ticket).

All colours were available but I had to confirm my shipping address (even though we will need to pick them up at the resort) before it would let me customise them.

I'm going to see if I can do mine today. Haven't looked at the colour options yet, but I might just go with what I can have!

Despite the magic band would I still get a WDW resort ID or was that just another name for the KTTW cards - I'm assuming the answer is no because you would reportedly need a resort ID to take part in the Magic Hours benefit

They're slowly getting rid of kttw starting with pop and all stars so will likely move out to mods and deluxe soon. Depends when you're going and where you're staying.
