Hi everyone. I don't post much, but I'm finally getting close to my wedding in 2007. I'm working on setting a date right now, so I'm going to have tons of questions. Any advice would be much appreciated. I'm trying to set my budget having a custom for around 100 people. What are some of the things that are not on the wishbook that you didn't think about?

Thanks,
Samantha

I would say here are the follwing items that you need to consider other than the items on wishbook: other can feel free to add

TAX - that adds on a lot for your wedding - thousands of dollars
honeymoon
travel expenses
lodging while you are at wedding
tips for vendors
dress and accessories
tuxes
gifts for bridal party
favors for guests
welcome bags (if you dot hem)
rehearsal dinner
venue fees- theme parks, etc

i am having a brain block right now....HTH

Stuff adds up quickly! Trying to think of stuff not on the above list

-Nails
-Massages
-Gifts for your attendants, parents, EMs, etc
-Gas money if you're driving
-Again, if you're driving, money for a hotel night each way
-Kennel cost for any animals
-Keepsake floral, goen preservation, purchasing photos after the fact
-Money neede to change your name (a lot of places charge)
-Teeth whitening
-Remember, you must leave money so that you can pay your bills when you return home! Keep in mind your billing cycles and set that money aside (in an envelope even) so that you don't spend it in Disney
-Gown preservation and cleaning
-Gown steaming
-If you're doing the MK photo shoot, remember the costs to purchase those photos after the fact
-Money to purchase and enlarge photos
-Money for lodging, food, souvenirs after your wedding
-If you're going on a honeymoon right away, allot for that
-Lingerie and anything special for your new hubby
-Gifts for each other
-Postage for TY notes (adds up quickly!)
-Hair and make-up artist for the day of the wedding
-Golf for the boys if applicable (greens fees are high at WDW)
-Clothes for your events (rehearsal dinner, farewell brunch, bridal shower, etc)
-DIY projects
-ALL your bridal accessories- crinoline, underwear, veil, shoes, jewelry, tiara, garters, etc
-Invitations and the cost to mail them and sent to a calligrpaher if doing so
-Rehearsal dinner- dinner, alcohol, dessert, etc

For us, getting gifts for everyone was a huge expenditure beforehand. We made a list of everyone we needed gift(s) for. We put the location to purchase it and the price. Once that list was completed, we didn't add anythign to it. Otherwise, it would have ended up more out of hand than it already was!
