Custom quilting?

Hi guys
Does anyone know where I can find someone to make a custom quilt/quillow for me? I would like it for my 2 year old for Christmas if possible (if later, that is ok as well) and be My Little Pony. I looked on eBay and there are people who do sewing and stuff, but nothing listed for something like this. <sigh>

Can you sew a straight line?

Maybe you could find some MLP fabric and just make an easy quilt. Buy a top piece and botton, batting, layer them together and and sew together at the binding?

Also, there are easy blankets that you just cut and tie together??

Custom quilting is VERY expensive, and it would mean more if you made it!

Check out your local craft store, maybe they offer classes.

LOL uh no, I can't even CUT a straight line let alone sew it! I bought a sewing machine a few summers ago and it's never been out of the box. My SIL was supposed to teach me how to sew and we just never got around to it. <sigh>

I use to work at a fabric store and we would suggest to customers who asked this to look into the local senior center and see if they can recommend someone who can do this. There are many seniors who enjoy this type of activity and would probably like the oppertunity to earn a little extra money for the holidays.

I'm a fairly new quilter and my suggestion would be to go into your local quilt shop or sewing shop and ask. Often they have a list of people who are willing to make a piece to order.
I'm not so talented as to offer to do it. I'm just barely making progress on my husband's quilt for Christmas.

Does it have to be a quilt? If you can find patterned fleece, you can make a no-sew tied fleece blanket and pillow.
