Custom Clothing at DL

Ohhhh yes that would be fun!! I have I think at least 3 different nemos in my stash, I think I will have to find some of that orange with the little white dots to go with it!!

hard to see the shirt so here is DD7 in her matching sister set! THey have the same pirate shirt.

oh I have to get some polka dots... here is what I did for nemo. I am sure you remember seeing it. oh it is her fishy face!

That one is Super cute and so is the fish face!! I think I will have work on my applique skills this spring to do some real cute appliques, otherwise there will be alot of frayed appliques which are cute too- but if I'm going to go all out custom for DL I might as well give it all I got, after all it will only be a 2-3 day trip!!

appliques sometimes are challenging, but this one was easier than it looks. start now mommy you only have 6 months to plan!!

Super cute! My sewing skills are pretty nonexistent but my mom can do a bit ~ here's DD's Alice costume from last Halloween she'll have to wear it either during our trip next month or in Dec.!

We do. We have several customs on the way for our May 1 trip. I've also got fabric scraps and threads scattered about the studio! My daughter doesn't wear anything other than customs, for the most part!

I think somewhere on that sight - you can buy some pre-appliques and I have seen them at joannes. I like to hand piece or machine applique myself.

We'll be at DL on Sept 8-12 for 5 Days. So 5 Outfits.

I think I have seen your work on Ebay. I would love to see more I'm newbie to sewing. But I'm an old hand at patterns as I do Stained Glass work (when I have any time).

Stained glass is hard. I do like patterns but have gotten used ot not using them. it is hard to break away from them.

Now that you mention it, there aren't as many themed outfits as when my kids were little...and that was a long long long time ago. I remember one Christmas we stayed at DLH, did the Christmas stuff at the hotel and the girls were "dressed" in Disney Christmas outfits EVERY DAY. So 17 years ago, there were 2 little asian girls with matching outfits, mostly minnie themed...ohhh the polka dots<G> and big hair bows.

They want me to promise that I won't dress any future grandchildren the same way...can't make that promise after seeing these darling pictures<G>
And the nemo dress...to die for...I love nemo!

Going May 30-June 4th. DD is wearing a Minnie twirl skirt I am making, Her Hannah Montana outfit, and a princess top and capri's. A matching T-shirt day will fill out the rest.

DS- I have a cars T-shirt, a Toy Story t-shirt, a Nemo shirt to make and a matching t-shirt day.

DH- Think I can get him to wear a Nemo shirt???, eh he would if I made it for him.

Me not so sure.
