Custom Cakes

I am an intimate bride, but I may want to pay for an upgraded cake. Can anyone link me to a catalog of the custom cakes Disney offers custom brides? In the wish book it only offers me the flavors. No pics or prices. I would appreciate any direction!

Sadly, Disney doesn't have that information on-line. When I went to my Planning Session, my Event Manager pulled out a BIG book that was filled with lots of photos of various wedding cakes. It was overwhelming, to say the least. Your best bet would be to gather some photos of cake styles that you like and then send them to your Sales/Event Manager. Ask them to price those cakes for you.

You can find all sorts of wedding cake photos on the Internet. For example, here is the link to Sylvia Weinstock's cakes: click here. And here is the link to Disneyland's wedding cakes: click here (just click on the appropriate link on that webpage). Those are just two websites with wedding cake photos on them. You should be able to find many, many more with a simple search of the Internet.

I was an Intimate bride too and did not like the standard cake. I found a picture of a cake that I really wanted, e-mailed the picture to our EM with the changes (my colors, different flowers), and they did an amazing job! They made the exact cake I wanted, it was just perfect! It was an additional $265 and worth every cent - that was last year, though, so prices have probably gone up!

I am also an intimate bride, and I am upgrading our cake. My EM sent me a CD with all of the Disney wedding cakes on it, and we just picked the one we liked.

You can either pick a cake that you like, and see if Disney can work with you to make that style. Or, you can contact your EM and have he/she send you the CD as well.

Side note, I have tried to email the PP presentation to another poster, and that will not work. Otherwise, I would be happy to send it to you. Sorry.

I know I sent you some pics but here is a good website to see custom cakes ... most are older but the still can make them! I was thinking others might want to see too!

To be honest the cakes on that link are more or less the same as on the cd they give you now. Not really that many more additions.
