Custom Cakes HELP!

Im new on here and looking for info for ordering my DD 4th bday cake for our up coming trip. I know this question has more then likely been answered before on the cake thread, but there is so much to search on that thread.

I was talking to a woman from the cake hotline for CRT, thats where we will be having her bday dinner. And she told me that i need to order a custom cake from the contemp. bakery for CRT. Has anyone had one from here? Are they good? she said that delivery is free, which is great but i want to make sure they make good cakes. I want a chocolate cake with vanilla filling, marble ganache and standing princess decor either cinderella or rapunzel if they do it.

Also, she said they have pre-made cakes at CRT, are these any good or am i better off doing a custom cake.

The other option she said was the mickey head cake which ive read on here is really good.

Will they deliver cakes to value resorts?

Hello and welcome.

It is best to ask your question in that cake thread, even though it is long. The experts check that thread and contain cake questions to it.
They will answer you as quickly as they can.

But I can tell you that a custom cake cannot be delievered to a Value resort. You can pick it up at the bakery in which you order it from, but they don't deliever it.

The Official Cake Thread is the best place to have all your cake questions answered Here's the Cake Hotline #: 407-827-2253. Brian at the Contemporary makes great cakes, when you call to place an order - (which you can do now or up to 48 hours before your scheduled dining event) - you just explain what you want. They are very accomodating but they do have some rules. But honestly, I think you will be able to get what you want. Your cake can cost anywhere from $60-100 though. Last December I ordered the Minnie head shaped cake for $45 but from the Grand Floridian because we ate at Narcoossee's. That cake was out of this world! So yummy and absolutely beautiful.

We ordered from Brian to have a custom cars cake last year for ds's third. I called the cake hotline pushed whatever to get the contemporary and was told they couldn't....so I hung up vented on here, knowing they could and called back and asked to speak to a pastry chef or get an email. She supplied his email and with in 12 hours I had heard back from him and was well on the way to having it done. We exchanged a few emails and two days later it and dd's surprise chocolate slipper wewre ordered and paid for.
