Custom Avatar Trouble!

I have tried and tried and tried but I cannot get a certain custom avatar to load! It uploads, but the picture won't show up. It's my current avatar. I have finally found an avatar I LOVE, but even though I rename it and re-size it, it refuses to load. Help?

I had the same problem. I think the only way to make it work is to keep trying until it works. That's what I did. I find it works better/higher chance of success the earlier in the day you try it

I don't think the forum's settings allow GIFS as Avatars. I tried to upload one, but it just came up as the error icon.

No, they do, I was digging around the old threads and saw older users with Gifs and moving pictures, and I think there are a few in this... generation of DISers

It must be size restricted only then. For a GIF that size, you need few frames.

Avatars must be either 100 x 100 or 3.9 KB, whichever is smaller. You CAN post gifs, but it must be either 100 x 100 or 3.9 KB. If it's not working, it just might be too big.
