Those who have bought cushions for your chairs, what kind did you get?

I got a Comfort Company (Now owned by Permie) 20”x18”Curve cushion from Spinlife. It’s a foam cushion though, so if you’re gonna pull all-dayers in your chair, I’d recommend that you upgrade to a Stealth Solution skin protection and positioning cushion (which is a gel cushion vs. a regular foam one like the one previously mentioned) from Medicaleshop. (Same size).

However, if you’re ordering a cushion for a Magshock, Idk if they’re able to be swapped out from the stock cushion cuzI think it’s built in or something. Hoping I’m wrong though cuz I like using my own cushion.

The MagShock does have a built in seat. I was looking for some type that goes on top.

I've gotten this one twice. My oldest gamer son stole mine and never gave it back, hence, why I gotta second one. It stayed in place really well with getting in and out of chair frequently. It didn't slip and my back and backside didn't get tired or sore after long days in parks.

I don’t have a seat cushion recommendation - my daughter has customized wheelchairs.
I have 2 suggestions though;
- if your original wheelchair seat can‘t be removed, you can use velcro to attach the seat cushion to the seat or put some non-slip material on the bottom of the seat cushion.

- check the height of the seat cushion plus wheelchair seat. My daughter’s previous manual wheelchair had a pretty thick seat cushion. The height meant she couldn’t fit under some tables because the top of her legs scraped the bottom of the table. Her current manual wheelchair cushion has a much lower profile so she can wheel up under a lot more tables.

F&G is in the process of creating an option of just a base where users can add their own cushions. Won’t be ready soon but at least it is being worked on.

It would be nice if was a base you could just replace the current MagShock cushion with, since the seat unscrews and wouldn’t be hard to screw a new base onto.

And it would make sense since a standard cushion doesn’t work for everybody/people who have cushion preferences.
