My daughter's room is the upstairs part of the house ...
She doesn't have a door to her room --- you go up the stairs, then 3 stairs to the right - has a bannister and that's all... it's one open area, it's the only room up there..
She wants a door to her room but it's impossible as it's not a doorway and the bannister is there... I know it's probably hard to picture... anyways, she wants more privacy, she's 9.
I was thinking of hanging a curtain rod from the ceiling of the entry way and just let a nice curtain hang from there, she can keep it open by tucking it on a curtain holder attached to her wall...
What do you think? can you picture it? I know it's hard...
I don't know what to do!

I am thinking about doing this to hide my scrap space and thought it might work for you too?? It is a curtain room divider on wheels. I would think you could change the plans based on your needs?? Or make more than one, plus they roll out of the way and are not permanent? You can google pvc pipe room dividers and there are a lot of ideas too? I know pvc pipe might not look wonderful, but it is cheap and temporary. Just an idea. Without seeing a picture of your space it is hard to tell.
She's in the process of re-arranging and cleaning!
