Current Taxi costs from LAX to DL?

It looks like the DL Express only runs every hour before 10:30am.

If I miss it, I'd like to know what I should expect to pay to get from LAX to DL from a Taxi off the street.

Oh and if you know of any good car services that would help keep cost down, that'd be great!

You should check out Super Shuttle. They have much more frequent times from LAX, and their prices are really good as well....definitely cheaper than taking a taxi.

Super shuttle is cheaper one-way than DLR, but roundtrip is about the same. Don't take a taxi unless you have 4 people or more and are traveling during an off-peak traffic hour (even though there's not so much thing as off-peak in LA!).

I wouldn't recommend taking a taxi...that would get wayyy expensive!

at $2.85 for the first mile plus $2.70 per mile your base rate would be $97.35. Then you have to add in an add'l .49 cents per minute of "delay time" sitting at lights or in traffic which is totally random.

I'd figure about $125 one way... could be more or less though depending on traffic time...
