DH and I are going on the Dream (3-nights end of april) and are really excited to just relax. Our Nassau day I have us booked for spa treatments but have questions.
1)Are facials currently being offered? I remember Pete mentioning booking onboard but I don't want to get my hopes up if this isn't the case.
2)Do we just show up get our treatment and then leave? or can we use the saunas/locker rooms (I know rainforest room is separate and we may try to make a reservation for that as well).
3)What is the pedicure like? I have one booked as a backup for a facial but want to make sure it will be worth my time (aka it isnt just them painting my toes)
Thank you!

We went on the magic in December and did a tour of the spa during the open house and they had a lot more options then what was available to book pre-arrival. Facials were an option.

They do everything you normally expect at your local nail salon when you get a pedicure.
They soak, they trim, they shape, they do the callus thingy, they polish (if you want polish), they lotion, etc etc...
I opted for the fire and ice pedicure and basically it was a really expensive pedicure I could get at home for about $40-50. The chairs are what you normally see for a pedicure. Typical massage chair with the attached bowl you soak your feet in. The hot stone massage on your legs was okay.

But it is looking out over the ocean, so you do have a nice view as long as someone getting a manicure isn't in the way. When I had mine done, they had 2 people total doing manis and pedis, but they have 4 stations for when they go back to regular capacity. Also there's a plexiglass divider with a cut out for your legs, so you've got that in the way. But that may/may not be used with the mask policy being relaxed.

Personally, I wouldn't do it again. It was fun for a one-time treat and peace of mind knowing that it's Disney so everything is going to be really clean and I don't have to worry about getting an infection.

Thank you so much! It is Disney so I know that I will be over-paying for a service I can easily get at home. My husband is getting a massage at the time I booked, and right now I am unable to get a massage myself so I wanted something that would be relaxing and allow me a spa experience.

Definitely go to the spa when you first arrive and see what is available to book once you get onboard. They might even have more openings for massages once onboard. Typically on this day you can get a tour of the spa to see what they have to offer.

We just did a couples cabana massage on Castaway this past weekend and it was AMAZING! Absolutely worth it. My husband also had a shave/facial done the next day for his birthday and really enjoyed it. Only annoying thing was the push for product sales at the end but a polite no thank you worked just fine! We have a Med cruise booked for May and have booked two separate massages(trying the Thai herbal poultice?!) during that 7 night that I’m really looking forward to 😊

You're welcome! I was overdue for a pedi, so I figured instead of getting one before the cruise, I'll just get one on the cruise. I don't think they offered me a drink, but they may have and I just declined (I honestly can't remember). Another neat thing that isn't related is the hair salon is against the wall and I've never seen this before, this blew my mind. The bowl they use to wash/rinse your hair in the salon, is on this swivel arm bolted on the ground between two salon chairs. I've never seen that before and when I realized what I was looking at, it blew my mind. I even told my stylist at home about it. :rotfl: Just something interesting I thought I'd mention. The lady was really nice but her English wasn't the greatest and with the mask and the plexiglass divider between her and I, she was a little difficult to understand.

But the view was really nice!
