We actually did not eat at all there, combination of eating before getting to the park, higher priced food then we wanted to pay, and still charging the 5% surcharge.

I still can't see how this surcharge can even be legal.

Even worse, the surcharge just went up to 9%. I already don’t buy food and only buy merchandise when there are SeaWorld Bucks and this just makes me want to try to get my purchase to as close to free as possible after the discounts so I don’t spend much.

I got the half price dining deal during black friday sales for our upcoming trip. I was hoping to go for 2 days so am still holding out hope they may have another offer before we visit in May.
Otherwise I think we will take a small soft cooler with our own lunch and snacks. I'm not paying those prices with the added surcharge all day.
