Hi-so I'm an owner at Aulani and that is the only resort I've ever visited. We are visiting WDW for my 40th in December and rented points from a friend (we have already spent ours at the Aulani...sigh). So since I've never been to a WDW DVC resort-what is different?
Do I have to go through my friend to make Magical Express reservations? And how is the Magic Plus different for me if I'm renting?
I'm used to the Disneyland way of life-low key and easy breezy, but I'm coming upon my 180 days, and I'm getting anxious!
Thanks in advance, Tracy

MS will not talk to you about this reservation since it's not using your points. The owner that you rented from will need to contact MS to add ME to the reservation.

I've traveled on my brother's points and while you can't make any changes, or schedule ME, you CAN link your WDW login to the reservation number in order to make your ADRs at the 180+10.

What is Magic Plus?
I don't think of WDW as low key and easy breezy. It is so big and spread out.
The logistics of getting from one place to another is time-consuming.
Hope you have a great trip.

Oh, do you mean the wristband thing for Magic Plus?
For some reason I was thinking you meant something they have at Disneyland, and you were inquiring if they have it, how it works at WDW.
The wristbands still are not rolled out, but they are working on testing with select guests.
By December there may be more happening.
The Disboards is sure the place to get the news.

Thanks for steering me in the right direction. I've contacted my friend already, and he is on board to reserve ME for me. Going to WDW is requiring a lot of work for this newbie! I'll be up at 3am PST tomorrow making my 180 day dining reservation. YAWN. And then off to teach!
Thanks again, Tracy
