Current Incentives??

I am only on the waitlist for AKV because I want points now. I don't want to wait for the opening of the new building in 2009.

Sorry....I think we may have got the last 100pt contract for 2008 use year at AKL .

We called last week and we were told that for AKV we'd most likely get 2009 use year which we didn't want as we want to use the points this oct. We thought it through for a day and called our guide to see what our options were and explained we'd prefer use year 2008. He went off came back and said there was 129pts available for 2008 use year so he grabbed 100pts for us.

Wide range of comment here...Someone said they received a Gift Card, Others have said Special VIP Fastpass...What does that mean special VIP
Fastpass..Others have said great ice cream at SSR.....

We're seriously interested in purchasing; otherwise I would not be wasting valuable precious vaca time for ice cream....

We received a VIP Fastpass, one for each of us. The way it worked was we put it in the Fastpass machine & got a fastpass for an immediate ride (no waiting at all). It only had three fastpasses per person, but it was great to go straight to the front of the line to ride the busiest rides.

We received gift cards...$15 per person in our party. And we had 4 with us...including 2 kids. It was nice to go out like this on our last day.

This is a little off topic, is there any other way to get those VIP fast passes? We got them on our tour also. Sure would be a nice "perk" if DVC would toss it's members a few once a year!
