 Does anyone on the boards know the current price for regular gas on and around I-95 in Georgia and Florida. I'm trying to determine amount of cash needed so I don't have to much but have enough. :jester: :jester: :jester:

In florida near the port it was around $1.30 per gallon. 25cents cheaper than in maryland. Most of the places in Florida were in 1.30 range.

We're driving down in Oct. so I hope it stays that or less by then. Maybe using a credit card would be a bit safer. Just a thought!:)

I'm just 4 hours away from Disney. I'm in Miami and our gas price is $1.40's. I heard on the radio a couple of days ago, that the prices were gonna pretty much stay like this until the end of the summer, then they will shoot up again.

RodM - price up here in Maryland is down to $1.38; a place just over the border in Virginia is at $1.25! We head South for fun & sun on the 8/2 3-day.

Thanks for the replys. I had budgeted $2.00 a gal when we planned the trip. This leaves more for souveniers. Also i appreciate the suggestion about credit card usage but thats a whole other story!!! 13 to go!!!:jester: :jester: :jester: :jester: :smooth:

If at all posssible, try to fill your car up before you leave Georgia. Gas is at least $.20 a gallon cheaper there. Also, if you're staying in a Disney resort, don't buy gas anywhere on the resort property because it is at least $.10 a gallon more than at the stations outside WDW. We usually leave home with just enough gas to get to WDW (we live 2 hours away) and then fill up on the Osceola Parkway in Kissimmee because the gas is $.15 a gallon less than where we live! :D

Just got back from a beautiful beach weekend off the Southern Chesapeake Bay (crab pots were filled, yeah!).

Anyway, I last reported gas was at $1.25 -- update, it's at $1.15!

Can anyone in North Carolina and Georgia give me a current gas prices along I-95 -- these are my usual refill spots when heading to Fla. (Georgia is [thankfully] the least expensive so I always top off there on the way down and way back.) I know it's nickle and dime'ing it, but that's one more Happy Meal paid for!

6 more days until OKW and then on to the Wonder!
