Current Frozen M & G times

Disney is picky for all their non-masked characters. It's part of the "quality" they guarantee. Even for completely costumed characters, they are picky on height. And they train all the characters extensively. They don't have them there just for the purpose of being there like some character greetings at parks, they have them there in a way so that you can actually believe they might be real, even as an adult.

Yeah, this totally makes sense. I was really impressed with Elsa & Anna. Anna was SPOT ON. She was bubbly, spunky, never really stopped talking, and really expressive. Elsa was more reserved, stood more still, etc. They were just as I would've imagined the characters in real life. I would love to be a fly on the wall during the non-masked character training.

Even the masked characters - it's really amazing how much they're able to convey without words. I fall in love with Minnie EVERY time.

There is no way we'd wait that long to meet characters. Hence, my daughter has still never met Rapunzel. Luckily we'll be going to WDW before a DL trip, and I snagged a FP+ to meet A & E.

Im glad I " TMZ'd" it. When the door opened "look boys there they are in Arendale" and done. :)

There was no rope drop line up for the meet and greet yesterday. It was a mad dash like it was previously. I wasn't headed there, but the poor lady next to me was. She was right next to the rope at the front and I told her what I had heard about the running. She seemed very confused when people started sprinting past her. After about 30 seconds I told her "I wasn't kidding! Run!" It was hilarious. I meant to check in with her later to see where she was in line. She lost a lot of time fast walking. I was disappointed that they didn't have a system in place for a Sunday of all days!

There was no designated line last Friday (May 9) either. I was just a few people back at rope drop, and I sprinted like the devil was after me. So did a few thousand other people. I made it to the 120 minute point. At least I "only" waited 2 hours instead of the people towards the back who were looking at 4 hours. DH took DD around to ride a bunch of rides, and I made some line buddies, so it was survivable. DD was so happy to meet them (and both Anna and Elsa were there, thank goodness).

The cast members were telling people to walk, so we slowed down to a speed-walk until we passed them, then resumed sprinting. I really wish they had something more organized (and safe) since this is going to continue to be a problem.

It was explained to me once that Mickey is never two places at DLR at the exact same time. He DOES have amazing ways to get from one side of the resort to the other lightning fast, but you could not be meeting him at the hotel while your friend is on the phone with you and meeting him on Main Street. The same is true for all characters. After all, you can't be in two places at once, how could Elsa or Anna? ;) - Dreams
Characters meet in different places at the same time constantly at DL and WDW. You can meet Mickey at a hotel - like breakfast at Paradise Pier - at the same time he's meeting in the parks. Likewise with the princesses at Ariel's and Fantasy Faire, who meet all during the day, or during parades and shows. It's quite common.

My DH and I are going to be playing a pretty intense game of Ro-sham-bo to see who gets to run with the bulls on our morning. :rotfl2:

I run several times a week and am quite fast, but the idea of being all jostled in with others who might be bigger and not paying attention to where they are going makes me nervous. I'm a fast breaker though, so maybe I can sprint out in front of the pack.

This is the most ridiculous thing ever. :rolleyes2

We must have been nearby you in line last Friday since we were there at rope drop and waited 2 hours to meet Anna and Elsa.

We were trying to be good by walking to the meet and greet but once we saw everybody else running we started trying to keep up with them to make it to the line!
