I know things are always changing, but with the way things are right now.....

If my sister in law books a cruise and a cabin for us as well, as I understand it we will get the discounted reservation as well as the on board credit. If for some reason they have to move their cruise, but it still works out better for us, do we lose everything and it go to rack rate as of that day?

How does that part work, or do we have to stay attached to their reservation?

If your sister-in-law books 2 rooms on a future cruise while she's on a cruise, both rooms get the onboard booking perks. If she has to change her reservation to another cruise only one of the rooms will retain the onboard booking perks. Since she made the original reservations, it's her call as to which room will keep the onboard booking perks.

Not sure what rate the other room will be charged, but my GUESS is, if you remain on the original reservation, it'll be the price that room was on the day of the original booking.

But, you need to clear that up with DCL.

If you are talking about CM rates, I'm pretty sure the CM has to cruise with you in order for you to retain those rates.
