Hi - Does anyone know what the current fee for an AP Blackout day is? I searched and could only find a comment from 2006 when it was $30 for a blacked out date.

Is that still the going rate? What's the process for doing it? Just go to the ticket booths?

I tried finding the info on Disneyland.com but am not finding any info.

Thanks!
KC

I think I did find it before on the Disneyland website where it said it was $30 a day to get in during blackout dates. I looked it up about 3 months ago and somehow found the information on the actual website :thumbsup2

How much is a Blockout day ticket and where can I purchase it?

Blockout day tickets are available for sale at the Main Entrance ticket booths for $40.00. A Blockout day ticket may not be purchased in advance and is valid only on the same day when purchased. Annual Passholders must present their valid Annual Passport and valid Blockout day ticket to be admitted into the Disneyland® Resort theme parks.

I prefer to purchase them at the guest services window. Usually the lines are shorter.

Do you know if you can purchase the blockout tickets at the DLR hotels' front desks? We purchased our AP's at the front desk when we were staying on site a few years ago. Our relatives are meeting us at the hotel and they will need a block out ticket that day. It would be so much more time efficient to purchase them right there. ;)

Where is the guest services window in relation to the regular ticket booths? I

Guest SERVICES (not relations), which is the set of windows just west of the Disneyland entrance. So it's on the left if you are facing DL turnstiles.

I'm almost positive you can't purchase them at the hotels. They only sell them at the ticket booths or Guest Services and must be purchased on the same day of use.

You can purchase the blackout day tickets at the front desk of the hotel, but you may have to put them on the room account. Try and see if it works. We did it at the GCH and they had no problem with giving us the tickets.

We also purchased a blockout day ticket at the GCH - that was waaay easier than trying to deal with the ticket booths. Plus, we needed it for Early Entry, and I'm not even sure the ticket booths were open at that point!

That's great to know. I hope that would mean the other two hotels would do the same.

Did you have to prove that you were a guest there when you bought your block out pass? I'm wonder if this would work for non-guests?

I'm trying to remember if they charged it to our room or not...but I thought we just put it on a credit card. Since we were guests there that part wasn't an issue for us. Sorry I can't be of more help.

ohh, this is good to know. I don't mind putting it on the room. I will try it.... :thumbsup2 That is so much more convenient and we want to make it for MM too.

Thanks for the great info!
