Current Crowds

We'll be making our way down there on Saturday and I've been looking at wait times on the MDE app and things seem to be a little crazy. I was a little surprised that MVMCP sold out on a Monday but I guess that's because of Veteran's Day. I'm hoping it's not as busy when we get there as it looks right now.

Anyone else out there thinking next week is going to be crazy as well?

We arrive Wednesday and also saw the crazy wait times today. I was a little worried but not really anymore. After tomorrow it shouldn't be too bad. The F&W had its last day today, the marathon was this weekend and Veterans Day is tomorrow so I am hoping it gets quiet after tomorrow.

My parents arrived this morning. They went to DHS and walked right on all of their FP's rides like ToT, Toy Story Mania and RnRC. The wait times on the app were much longer than the actual wait times in the park. The app said Star Tours was 60 mins but my Mom texted me in line and it was posted at 30 and they got on it in 10 minutes. They went to get in the FP line for TSM and were told that it was over an hour wait just for FP... again they walked right on and were out in 10 minutes. So the app is not very accurate all the time and neither are the posted wait times there. They are going to Universal for the day tomorrow, not sure how it is there at this time of year.

But I am happy and excited about the great forecast for this week!

I will be there next week as well. I think it will be a quieter week. People are there this week because some have Veterans Day off tomorrow. Many people go the week of Thanksgiving. So the week in between should be less crowded. Here's hoping, anyway!

From the crowd calendars I've seen on Touring Plans and Easy WDW, I think we'll be in good shape. Crowd levels look to be between 3 and 5 between next Sunday and Wednesday, when I'm there.

See you there next week! We chose the 3rd week in Nov carefully instead of this week because if the marathon, Veterans Day, and F&W crowds. Hoping we were right that crowds would die down by then.

It doesn't matter though, we are coming to have fun!!! See you all there!

MK was a mad house today. This week was the most crowded I have ever seen Disney. But it was Jersey Week, Veterans Day, F&W, and a marathon...it should quiet down now.

We were at MK today and thought it was busy but very manageable. We waited 30 min for PotC. That was our longest wait. Of course we had FP+ for 7DMT, STwB, and SM. We had a great lunch at BoG. So far we love FP+.

I think it should quiet down next week. As others have said the holiday attracted many people. You can pull kids out of school for the week and only miss 4 days, or do a long weekend, Fri-Tues and only miss one day of work/school. I think lots of locals are heading there today since there is no school.

According to Touringplans, yesterday was a 6 at MK, 7 at EP, and an 8 at HS. Next week should be better.

DH and I arrive Saturday as well. Every source suggests next week for lower crowds, so I think we will all be fine. That being said, I've been during the 1st and 2nd week of December for low crowds, and was a little surprised at first by the crowds for the nighttime events (parades, fireworks, Osborne Lights). So just be prepared that even during low crowd times, the night events draw many of those guests to one place, so they can still be very crowded (Still wonderful, but more people than I first expected).

We are locals but our kids all had school today, including our preschoolers. We were at Magic Kingdom Saturday--what a nightmare! It was packed

Next week, for at least a few days, should be slower than it has been the past month. I would expect crowds to pick up starting next Thursday as people get in for their Thanksgiving week vacation.

Touringplans says that MK was at 8 yesterday. It was a madhouse. I've been a few times in Sep and never seen it like this. The wait times were crazy and there was even a line to the Peoplemover! And it was backed up close to the entrance of Astro Orbiter. I hope it quiets down today!

We arrive Saturday also! There are a lot of us arriving Saturday - we should all meet up! I picked this week by default - it was the only week in November/December that had a value resort room with the free dining offer so I grabbed it (actually, was told for 2 days there were no rooms available, and then one miraculously opened up). Now, I'm very glad that I have that week as I agree - in between the Marathon/Veterans' Day and before Thanksgiving, hoping it won't be too crowded but even if it is A BAD DAY AT DISNEY IS BETTER THAN A GOOD DAY ANYWHERE ELSE!!

We arrive Saturday morning as well! This is our first time for this week, usually we are the week after thanksgiving or the week after that. I picked this week because it worked better in our schedule and had even lower crown numbers in touring plans. Here's hoping!

We leave tomorrow morning. Hope it is not too crowded. Originally had it scheduled for 2nd week in December, but then our daughter and son in-law told us they are expecting so we rescheduled. Our first grandchild. Can't wait to take the grandchild to Disney some day. Exciting days!
