Current Characters at Hollywood & Vine Lunch?

When I booked my kids were heavily in to Diz JR and we've done the "normal" character meals so I thought this was good bet. WELL, the last couple of months they're not in to it. I was wondering which characters are there for lunch, and wondering if anyone suggests trying a different character meal?

Doc McStuffins, Sophia and Jake and Handy Manny.
I have the same dilemma - and I'm going back and forth between H&V Fantasmic package or Mama Melrose.
There are no other character meals in HS, but you can take the ferry over to Cape May Café for breakfast to see some of the fab 5 in their beachwear.

I KNOW right?! I've heard it's one of the better meals, but I feel like they're so done with Sofia, Jake & Doc and they don't even care about Manny. I wish there were other characters like Miles, or Callie, I feel like maybe then I'd be more inclined to keep it.
The other character meal doesn't have to be at HS. We're doing CRT and we've done, Tusker House, Chef Mickey's & Askerhus in the past. Tusker took FOREVER and had similar food as Boma (which we like better), Chef Mickey was just eh, and We loved Askershus because there were great interactions and loved the food.

Does anyone have other character meal suggestions? May be too late anyways to get reservations.

One of my favorite character meals was at the garden grill in Epcot. The food was good, the restraint rotates (if it is working) and the character interaction was by far the best of any character meal I have had besides the Villans Sioree last year. Each character came by our table 2-3 times. We had Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Mickey is Farmer Mickey. I also do enjoy the lunch at Hollywood and Vine. In addition to the characters they sing and dance and the kids join in. It is a fun experience!

My oldest never watches Disney Jr anymore and my youngest only on occasion. But, it is always a meal they enjoy. Just because they don't watch the shows anymore doesn't mean they don't enjoy seeing characters they know or remember. They rarely watch mickey specific cartoons, but they enjoy seeing mickey.

Pinkangel - Good point and great advise! I think well stick with Hollywood & Vine and try Garden Grill next time.
