Curious...HS closing at 7:30??

During our upcoming visit, HS is closed the majority of our visit at 7:30 each night? Anyone know why?

I feel like that is normal for some times of the year, coinciding with Fantasmic!

7:30 seems a little strange to me, and unfortunately I don't have an answer for you. However, when we are there in October, HS will be closed at 7pm during the days we are touring that park. I am marking it down to time of year, since it is more of an off season, but then again there have been more and more reports saying that off season times are becoming non-existent these days, so who knows.

DHS closes early-ish during non-busy times of the year, sometimes as early as 6pm. I find that their closing time coincides with the finish time of Fantasmic for the most part.

It looks like in September there are many days with a 7:30 close and an 8:00 Fantasmic which is not unusual because DHS closes early in the off season.

Hours typically get extended a month out.

During our entire October visit DHS is scheduled to close at 7:30 with Fantasmic scheduled for 8:00. I would not be surprised to see the closing time extended before we get there.

I have my DHS day in October as well and saw the early closing time. I actually don't mind because I keep hearing that it's not a full-day park anymore. I hope that's enough time for everything they have for adults minus RnRC and still being busy enough to tide us over til Fantasmic.

For my whole trip DHS closes at 7:30 except for one day and to be honest IMHO I don't care [not trying to be rude; just honest]. The park could close at 5pm and I could still get everything done in the park (I wanted to do) multiple times. That park is a disaster and the last time I was there I was just over it and wanted to leave early [and we got there late] (unfortunately I love Fantasmic and had to wait until the first showing - which I hate to do cause it's so crowded).

You can easily show up late and get everything done even with park close at 7:30.
Last year they did expand the hours about a month before (however that was because Frozen Summer of Fun was expanded) so there is definitely still a chance.
